



b-solutions 3.0: Solving Border Obstacles to Facilitate Cooperation initiative
Call for new b-solutions' cases
Purpose: The b-solutions 3.0 Call for new cases aims to identify and solve concrete obstacles to cross-border cooperation. This initiative supports public bodies and cross-border structures in overcoming legal and administrative barriers, providing targeted expert assistance to analyse specific obstacles, develop sustainable solutions and share best practices to deepen European integration.
Who can apply? Eligible applicants include:

Public bodies at the national, regional, or local level

Cross-border entities
-
Bodies governed by public law, including “public equivalent bodies”
Applicants must be located in an EU Member State or a neighbouring EFTA or IPA country, sharing at least one land or maritime border with another EU Member State. EU Member State applicants may also share a border with an EFTA or IPA country.
Benefits for selected cases: Selected cases will receive technical assistance from experts who will suggest solutions to overcome obstacles in areas such as:

Labour market and education

European Green Deal
The expert’s report will help local actors move towards practical solutions and raise awareness on cross-border cooperation, promoting solutions at local, national, and European levels.
How it works: An expert will assist the selected case by clearly defining the identified obstacles and proposing solutions within a legal framework. The analysis will be conducted over a maximum of 8.5 days within three months of matching the expert with the case.

Deadline: The call remains open until 30 June 2026. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and can be submitted in any European language.
